Grain Max Yield Pro
Experimentally derived formulation enabled by high-throughput screening
Applications include: Biofuels, Recycling, Biogas.
Key properties: Specially blended formulation to transform your grain biofuel yields whilst preventing inhibitor issues.
Overview: Tailored enzyme blend for grain conversion designed to efficiently hydrolyse the starch and complex carbohydrates present in cereals such as wheat, barley, and corn into fermentable sugars for bioethanol production. This specialised blend typically contains α-amylase, cellulase, glucoamylase, and protease enzymes, each contributing to a specific stage of the conversion process. α-Amylase liquefies gelatinised starch by breaking internal α-1,4 bonds, while glucoamylase completes saccharification by releasing glucose units from the non-reducing ends of dextrins. Protease enzymes improve yeast fermentation performance by breaking down grain proteins to release free amino nitrogen, an essential nutrient for microbial growth. The benefits of this tailored enzyme system include higher sugar yields, faster conversion rates, lower processing energy demands, and enhanced ethanol productivity. By optimising enzyme synergy and process efficiency, these blends support a cost-effective, sustainable, and high-performance bioethanol production process across a range of grain feedstocks.
