Properties: Xylanases breakdown xylan, a polysaccharide found in plant cell walls, through a process called hydrolysis. Our enzyme works by cleaving the backbone of xylan, which is made up of xylose residues connected by β-1,4-glycosidic linkages. This enzyme is derived from submerged fermentation using a fungal strain.
